Modern foreign language debating triumph

Modern foreign language debating triumph

All three of the Redmaids’ High teams who competed in the annual Modern Foreign Languages Debating Competition at Clifton College won their debates, beating teams from Clifton High School, Clifton College, QEH, Cathedral School, Cardiff, Badminton and Katharine Lady Berkeley’s Gloucestershire.

Two of the Sixth Form team spoke in Spanish and one conversed in Russian. All the girls took questions from the opposition and answered with poise and confidence.

Well done to Amelia, Ellie, Yasmin, Grace, Chloe and Lily Ogilvie who spoke in Spanish, and Chloe, Kornelia and Emily (pictured) who spoke in Russian.
