National finals here we come!

National finals here we come!

Last weekend, both our intermediate and senior public speaking teams followed up their District Final wins by also winning the Regional Final of the Rotary 'Youth Speaks' public speaking competition.

The Regional Final, held at Wrekin College in Telford, brought together the best teams from schools across the South West, Wales and the Midlands area so the standard was exceptionally high.

However, all of our girls spoke with great clarity and confidence to win both the intermediate and senior age group categories. A well-deserved victory made all the sweeter for being held on International Women's Day.

Both teams will now go on to compete in the National Final in May. Congratulations to Lucy, Milla, Lara, Grace, Kenisha and Ellie.
