They question, investigate, build, create and imagine. At Redmaids' High Junior School, we believe that curiosity is the foundation for confident, lifelong learning, which is why we are inviting families to experience it first-hand at our '**Constructing Curiosity' Open Morning on Saturday 7 November**. This is more than an opportunity to tour the school. It is a chance to discover how we encourage girls to think differently, embrace challenge and develop the confidence to explore the world around them. As a school that prepares girls for the future, we continually look for innovative ways to enrich learning and equip pupils with the skills they will need in a rapidly changing world. Our chosen theme for this year's Open Morning celebrates the recent introduction of Engineering into our Junior School curriculum, recognising its power to support creativity, resilience, critical thinking and real-world problem-solving skills from an early age. Questions such as how does something work? Why was it designed that way? What might happen if we tried something different? - are all welcomed as they underpin curiosity and discovery from a young age. Because Engineering naturally blends with so many other areas of the curriculum, our Open Morning is the perfect opportunity to show families how we encourage girls to apply creative, problem-solving skills to a variety of subjects. Your daughters will have the opportunity to explore a range of different subjects across the school from Art, Music, Drama, English and History to Maths, Humanities, PE, Outdoor Education, and Engineering itself,  all with the common link of construction. This exploration takes the form of a self-led tour across our Junior School with engaging activities taking place in our classrooms. Your daughter will be rewarded with a surprise treat at the end for completing the activities! Meet our specialist teachers, chat with our Junior School pupils - our best ambassadors, and ask Mrs Newton, our Head of the Juniors, any questions that you may have.
