Dr Dominique Thompson to give talk on post-pandemic parenting

Dr Dominique Thompson Post Pandemic ParentingHere at Redmaids' High we regularly host pastoral evenings on topics that we believe will be of use to our parent body. This November, we will be welcoming Dr Dominique Thompson back onto site to talk on the theme of Post Pandemic Parenting.

Dominique visited us in 2019 and did an excellent talk on perfectionism and girls. She works as a GP and is also a young people's mental health expert, TEDx speaker, author and educator, with over 20 years of clinical experience caring for students, including as Bristol University’s GP. She is the author of How to Grow a Grown Up and we are delighted that she will be back at school to deliver this talk on such a highly topical theme, covering how we can better help and support our young people and what we have noticed since the pandemic.

This event is for our parent community who can reserve free tickets to this event on Thursday 25 November via the link in this week's Friday Bulletin, however if any parents in our wider school community are interested in attending then please do get in touch with our Admissions Team on admissions@redmaidshigh.co.uk, who, numbers permitting will be able to reserve you a spot.

Don't forget to register for our upcoming Senior School Entrance Examination on Saturday 8 January.
